CHAPTER 1: THE DESERT DIAMOND
The bell rang, singaling the start of a new school day. "I heard we are suppose to be getting a new girl today." Joey said to his small friend Yugi. "I wonder who she is." Bakura said as he followed Joey and Yugi into the classroom. As the tarty bell rang the teacher steps in and sets down his books. Then he signals to the door for the new girl to come in. A girl with flowly dirty blonde hair about mid-back and brown eyes, that matched Bakura's, and about the size of Bakura, only a few inchs smaller, walks in. The teacher introduces her as Luise Reta. She is from America. "Go ahead and sit behind Yugi Muto, Yugi raise your hand so she can see where you are, and welcome to Domino High School." As she passed Yugi and Bakura she noticeed their Millennium items, and they notice her necklace.
After lunch they find her sitting under a tree reading a book. Yugi walks over and introduces everyone to her. "Hi, I'm Yugi Muto, and this is Joey, Tristen, Tea, and......" Yugi looked around and found his friend standing behind everyone, blushing. "...and Bakura." Yugi pulled Bakura out from behind everyone. Luise looked at him, and says in a kind voice, "Well hello there, why where you hiding behind everyone?" Bakura's cheeks bloomed like roses and he says, "I wasn't hiding." Luise gave him a weird look and whispered, "uh-huh." Tea then noticed her necklace and said, "Wow! What a beautiful necklace. Where did you get it?" Lusie looked at her, then said in the same kind voice, "It is a treasure in my family, it is called the Desert Diamond. It is said that it is more powerful then the Millenium items I see you two have." Then the bell rang, signaling the start of the afternoon classes, and as they are walking in she asks to meet them after school and walk home. Yugi suggest she visit his Grandpa's game shop, she decides to see it. As she is walking in she sees Bakura falling behind, she knows he likes her, and she likes him too.
They meet after school and ask about her. They find out that she has a little brother named Stephen. They also find out that she is a wonderful singer and great cartoonist. As they reach the game shop she asks if they sell Duel Monsters, Yugi sas yes, and ask why, "I have a deck I call 'Destineys Call'. It is mostly Spellcaster, Fairy, and Dragon type monsters. I also have alot of magic and trap cards." Yugi decided it would be fun to show her his deck, so they switch decks and finger through them. Then they both stop and hold out a card, Yugi holding the Dark Magican Girl, and Luise holding the Dark Magican. They then say in sequence, "I have a card like this." They exchange puzzled looks, and then start laughing. They walk into the shop and see a boy with blonde spikey hair buying 2 Duel Monster packs. "Hey boy, what you doing here?" They look at Luise suprised, then they hear the boy say, "What does it look like Lus, buying Duel Monsters cards." He walks over to Luise and tells her that their mom is worried about where she is. "Well go on home and tell her I will be home in about 30 minutes." As he walks out she hears Joey ask, "Who was dat?" "That's my little brother, Stephen." She then looked at the card packs for sale, picks two packs and pays for them. She opens one and fingers through the cards and gasps, "Yes, the card I need to add these." She then opened a secert pocket in her book bag and pulled out the cards Hardie Lady, and Harpie Lady Sisters. Tristen looked over her shoulder and saw that she had Elegant Egotist in her hand. "Oh, I know why you wanted that card, you need it to summon the Harpie Lady Sisters." Tristen concludes. "Hey Bakura." Bakura looked up and give her a puzzled looked. "Ya" "Can I see your deck?" "Sure" He handed her his deck, she fingers through his deck, whispering every once and a while, "I have this," or "I need that." Then she handed it back to Bakura, "Nice deck." "Thanks" He blushed as he sayed it, noticed that their hands had meet.
"Hey, Luise.." She looked down at Yugi, "How about a duel?" She thinks for a moent, then answers, "Sure." They clear off a spot and set their dueling fields, then shuffle each others decks. Yugi then starts talking to himself, or is he. Luise knows who he is talking to. Everyone that knew Yugi well knew about his alter ego, they just couldn't figure out how Luise knew about him. He is saying, "Hey Yami, could you let me duel alone this time...........O.K., thanks." He then turns to Luise, looks at her, then tells her that Yami is going to stay out of this, she says that's fine. This suprised Yugi a little bit, but he didn't really care, because Luise had already drawn her cards.
"Duel!" They both started out with 2000 life points and begin. "I will start, I play 'Neo the Magic Swordsman' (1700/1000) in attack and this card face down." As Luise finishs her turn she gives Yugi a small smirk. "I play 'Curse of Dragon' (2000/1500) in attack mode, I attack 'Neo'." Just then Luise flips over her trap card, "I had a feeling you would play a dragon, so I set this just in case. I activate 'Dragon Capture Jar' placing all your dragons in Defenseive mode and protecting my 'Magic Swordsman', now I attack your 'Curse of Dragon', destroying it." The score is now Luise-2000, Yugi-1800. Yugi being suprised by the trap, played 'Launcher Spider' (2200/2500) in attack. "I attack your Swordsman with this, and the score is....." Tea adding it all up says, "Luise-1500, Yugi 1800, it's Luise's turn." Luise draws a card, " I play 'Dark Magican Girl' (2000/2100) and compine it with 'Reinforcements', raising her attack by 500, now her attack is 2500, strong enough to destroy your spider. Now the score is even." (Luise-1500, Yugi-1500) Yugi gave her an evil smile and sayed, "Yes but now you do not have your 'Reinforcements', I play 'Dark Magican' (2500/2100), I will not attack your Girl yet, instead I will attack your face down card." "Ha, you stumbed right into my trap, I activate my 'Man-Eater Bug' (450/600) and it's effect destroys 'Dark Magican'. What are the stats?" "They are Luise -1500, Yugi-0000" Everyone looked at Luise in suprise. "Wow, I did not know you where such a great dueler, Luise." Yugi remaked. "Thanks."
Little did they know that Seto Kaiba was out side watching. When he was walking by he noticed them playing, so he decided to watch, he had nothing better to do. He had never seen anyone win to Yugi before. As they finished up and every body was getting ready to walk home Seto thought it would be a bad idea to be noticed, so he contuined on his way.
When they where walking home Bakura and Luise realize they live in the same apartment building. Luise living on the third, and Bakura on the second. As they entered the building, Bakura ask, "How did you beat Yugi so easliy?" She replys,"I am a very skilled dueler. I took a test, the scores being 1 through 10, I got a 9. But that was only second, Seto Kaiba was first (of course)." Bakura decided not to reply, instead he said good bye, and went to his apartment. As he walked off Luise couldn't help but smile. Then she went to her apartment she said hi to her parents, got some dinner and a soda, did her homework, then went to bed. Not even bothering to open the other pack of Duel Monsers cards she had gotten today.
At 2:00 A.M. she woke with a start. She was drentched in sweat, and breathing very deeply. She had had another ESP dream, she could tell by the way everything looked. The Desert Diamond gave her ESP, along with a few other things. (Now you know how she knew about Yami) She had dreamt that she was locked up a dungeon with Bakura and Yugi. They both where already awake and talking about something, but she couldn't make it out. When they noticed she was awake they went over to her and ask how she was. "What happened." She tried to say, but only a groan came out. She feels for her necklace, and finds it. She then feels in her pocket, and she finds her deck there, she pulls it out. She flips through it and finds the 'Dark Magican Girl' is missing. Yugi sees that she has finally noticed and tells her what happened, "Kaiba saw our duel and was impressed by how you beat me so easliy. So first he challenged Bakura, then me, then you. Before he dueled us he took both our items and we didn't have there help while we where dueling. But when you two dueled you some how beat him. So he had a guard ready just in case, and he knocked you out so you wouldn't remember. He also took the card that beat him, the 'Dark Magican Girl'." She was then aware of the horrible headache she has had since she woke up. She clutchs her head and groans again. She then manages to say,"I can never forget anything, my necklace is where my memories are, and my powers. My Nacklace has magic. Remember when I told you that it is probably stronger then your items. Well Kaiba must not of known, so he did not take it." Yugi and Bakura gave each other puzzled looks, they did not understand her very well, with her having the headache of the century on hand and all. They turned their attention back to Luise and saw that she was about to faint again from the pain in her head. As she fainted she woke up. 'I am going to have a bad day tomorrow.' She thought as she fell back asleep.
The next day they all meet up at Luise's locker, the only one missing was Luise. 10 minutes before class she finally shows up, looking like she was hit by a truck. They ask what was wrong. She sayed she will tell them at lunch, if she is still here. She then looked really worried and started to look around nerviously. Then her eyes landed on Kaiba and she tried to hide. They all look puzzled and say 'Hi' to Seto, of coarse only getting a hard stare in return. When he is out of site Luise pops out and gets her books. When the first bell rings she jumps, looks around, then relaxes. She heads to class. almost falling along the way. The gang looked at Luise really worried about her.
She would of fallen asleep in class if Yugi hadn't waken her up and saved her a trip to the office. Also, during the class she had Tea, Tea seemed to notice that Luise seemed to be somewhere else the whole period. At lunch they did not see her in the cafeteria, so they ate a quick lunch and checked outside. They found her outside clutching her necklace and talking in some strange language. "Yami," Yugi said, "Yes?" "What language is Luise speaking in?" There was no reply for a few minutes then, "She is speaking ancient egyptian, but I understand only a few things." "Well tell me what you do understand." "Where, When, Who, and Why, They are questions. I wish I could understand more." Bakura walked up to Luise and just before he opened his mouth Luise sayed, "There is nothing wrong with me, this is normal for me. I need to know this stuff. I am like this just before something big happens to me. Sorry if I worried you. After today I will be fine."
During school Bakura had offered to help walk her home. She had to think about it, but Bakura kept on nagging, so she said he could. In the end she was glad he had nagged her so much. She was getting dizzy spells and double vision. She had even almost been hit by a car her dizzy spells got so bad. But Bakura had pulled her out of the way just in time. She kept on thinking, 'All this just from my necklace.' It had taken twice as long just to walk home. When they got there they found her mom outside waiting for her. Bakura introduced himself to her and said he lives in this building also. Her mom introduce herself as Nena. She said that he could come up and help with Luise if he wanted, and tell him what was wrong with her. He said he would help for as long as she needed him.
When they finally got to the apartment and got Luise to her bed Nena relayed the info to him, "The Desert Diamond is a very powerful artifact. It has great powers. One that Luise already had, but the necklace inhanced was ESP." She told him that there was a journal in her room that only recorded the ESP dreams. Nena gave the notebook to him and he read the last dream written. As he read the journal he was amazed by the great detail. He also noticed that he was in here, and so was Yugi and Kaiba. "I read it every day before she gets home to make sure she has not forgotten to tell me anything. She does not like to tell us what her dreams are......" "AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" They hear a scream from her room and rush in. They notice that she is holding her head and crying from some sort pain. "I will be right back." "Where are you going!?!?!?" "I think Stephen is down staries." "I will go check, you stay here." As Bakura went he turns around to look at Luise. She had relaxed but not much.
When he got to the lobby he found Stephen checking the mail. "Hey Bakura" "Hi, do you know that your sister is sick?" "Ya, I knew, that's why I am checking the mail." He held up the mail with pride, like it was his first time. "I don't think we will be needing your help anymore, thanks." "Are you sure?" "Ya" After Bakura is sure that they do not need his help he heads up to his apartment. He gets a soda and then hears the phone ring.
"Hello, Bakura speaking, how is this?" He hears a button being pushed, then hears everyone say hi. "So hows Luise?" Yugi asks in a worried voice. "She is getting better, not to much, but she is getting better." Joey then says,"I still can't figure whats so special about that necklace" He sounded very fustrated that he couldn't figure it out ,Bakura hears this and tells them about her necklace, "You know her necklace, well that is what is making her sick. It is more powerful then our millennium items. She has ESP and a few other things, but the ESP is the most important. She also has a journal that she keeps her ESP dreams recorded....." He goes on telling them about the dream. ".....Oh ya, and Yugi stay away from Kaiba." Bakura then hangs up.
Yugi puts the phone on the reciever and thinks about what Bakura just said. Then a thought comes into Tristens head, "Do you think Kaiba saw your duel with Luise?" Yugi thinks about it then says, "You know, she did beat me and he might want to know how she beat me so easliy." As they walk out a black car speeds by and stops right in front of them. Kemo steps out and a few other body guards follow. "Yugi, come with us" Kemo says in his deep voice. "No" Yugi says firmly. Kemo then snatchs at Yugi but misses. Yugi tries to run, but is blocked by the other body guards. Joey, Tristen, and Tea try to get to Yugi, but are held back. "Yugi!!!!" Joey says just before being punched in the stomach. Yugi is taken into the car and it drives off.
As all this is happening Bakura decides to check up on Luise. He goes up to the door and knocks. When the door is opened he is greeted by Stephen, "Hi Bakura, you must be here to check on Luise. Come on in." "Thanks" He steps in and finds Luise waering a pair of jeans and a tan shirt on the couch with a game controller in her hand. "Hi Bakura, me and my brother are playing video games, come on over and sit down. I will be a minute." He takes the offer and looks at the television screen. Stephen then goes to his seat, gets his controller, and presses the start button. A few minutes later the game ends, with Luise the victor. "Well how are you Bakura?" Bakura gives her a suprised look, and says, "Me, how about you?" "Oh, I am fine. I guess you know about my journal, huh." Bakura says yes and ask, "Why did you not tell us at school about your dream?" "I was gathering info." Bakura looks at her and says "Oh" Stephen then announces that he is going to the bathroom.
Just as Stephen closes the door and lockes it a man that Luise had never seen before slamed the door open. "Oh no, Kemo! Luise run, NOW!!" She does as she is told, but quickly finds out that there is no where to run to. As bakura tries to clear a way he is snatched and dragged out. "Luise, get out!!!!" She tries to run through them but is snatched just as she is out of range. They then put cloths socked in some sort of liquid over their nose and mouth. They both faint and are picked up by the body guards. "Sir, we have her. We also have another boy that was over at her apartment. What do we do with him?" "Go ahead and bring him too, I am curious who he is."
Yugi was the last to wake. He looked up and found a badly brusied Bakura and a very tired Luise staring down at him. "Where are we?" Yugi asked. "We don't know, all we know is that it is not good." Yugi got up, staggers, and then fell down again. His legs felt like jello. Then they all heard foot steps coming, and see a figure come from the shadows. "Kaiba! Where are we!" Bakura yells loudly. "Calm down, I did not expect you. I just wanted Yugi and Luise." Kaiba noicted Yugi reached for his puzzle, finding out it wasn't there. "Oh, and don't bother looking for your Mellennium items, I took the liberty of taking them so you couldn't escape, or have their help when we dueled." Luise reached for her necklace, finding out that it was still there. Kaiba must not know about it yet. She also reached in her pocket, and finded that her deck was still there, she also saw Bakura and Yugi do the same. "So who should be my first victum? Maybe the only person to almost reach my level in dueling?" He gave Luise a hard stare, daring her to say something about it, she didn't. Then he continued, "Or the only person to actually beat me, or the british kid who probably has no dueling skills." At this Bakura gave him a very ugly stare and cursed under his breath. "Yes, I think I will duel you first." He gave Bakura an ugly look in return and told the guard to open the door. The guard grabed Bakura and draged him out, almost forgeting to lock the door again. Bakura winched from how hard the guard is gripping his arm. Luise then reached out and handed him her necklace. He took it without anyone noticing, and sliped it on. When he put it on a weird power more powerful then his Ring flowed through his body. "Bakura can you here me?" "Luise?" "Yes, I will help you when you need it, or ask. Told ya I was psychic. My necklace also allows me to talk with other people that have it, but only me." "Why?" Bakura ask curiously. "Because I am the oringal owner, unless I say it is yours you can not harnsh the powers, you need my help. Get ready." Bakura walked into the areana and steped onto the platform. 'This is going to be a very instering duel' he thought to himself as he got his deck from his pocket.

CHAPTER 2: Kaiba-2/Yugi, Bakura, and Luise-0
Bakura stepped onto the platform and felt himself being lefted to the dueling field. "So, what's your name? Bakura right? Well I expect this to go by quick." Kaiba said in his calm, cool voice. Bakura just stood there looking at his deck. 'Why are you so worried Bakura?' Luise asked. "I don't think I can beat him with my deck" 'But you have the Change of Heart, and the Man eater Bug, and other cards you can spring up on him.' "I know but my dueling skills have been wavering lately, and without Yami I will be all washed up." 'Now come on you are losing faith.' He hears Yugi, suprised "Yugi, you can speak to me too, wow this is a great necklace!" Kaiba notices Bakura talking to himself, "Well are you done talking to yourself yet?" Bakura remembers where he is and says, "Ya, I was just waiting for you." 'Wow, what a great come back' he thinks as he shuffles his deck.
Bakura sees the life points set to 2000. "Duel!" They both draw five cards, "I will make the first move." Kaiba says as he lays down 'Ansatsu' (1700/1200) "in attack, and this card face down." 'O.K. Bakura don't lose your cool' Luise says with a confident voice. 'If only I was as confident as you' Bakura thinks to himself as he moves, "I play 'Baron of the Fiend Sword' (1550/800) and these two cards face down." Bakura's turn is done, Kaiba then gives him a smirk and says, "What a mistake, I attack your monster!" "Wait just a sec I played a card face down remember? I activate 'Sword of Dark Destruction' raiseing my monster attack to 1950, and defense to 1000. Your monster is destroyed." Kaiba is suprised by the Equip magic card, but doesn't lose his cool. "That was a lucky play, but don't forget it took Exodia for Yugi to defeat me." 'Just ingore him, his just trying to scare you' Luise's attempts to encourage Bakura work a little, but not much. "Well, I will go ahead and play 'Launcher Spider' (2200/2500) in attack and attack your 'Baron', Rapid Fire Attack!!!" Bakura has to block his eyes from the light and wind that the bombbardment caused. 'Have you forgotten about your Man-Eater Bug?' Bakura had totally forgotten about his face down card. "Well that's the end of that card" Kaiba says after all the smoke clears. "O.K. Kaiba, I play this card face down, and 'The Lady of Faith' in attack (1100/1000)" "What an idiot, did you forget about my face down card? I activate 'Fissure' destroying your weakest monster, that being your 'Lady of Faith'." Bakura looks in horror as his monster is destroyed. 'Why are you panicking? Just calm down, would ya' Bakura doesn't seem to hear her and just starts shacking uncontrollably. "I see you are scared, I can see it in your eyes." 'Bakura play your 'Man-Eater Bug'! Now!!!' Bakura starts to calm down, "I flip up my face down card, 'Man-Eater Bug' (450/600), destroying your 'Launcher Spider'" Kaiba just stands there, then draws a card, "Ha! You should of safed that card. I play the unstoppable 'Blue Eyes White Dragon' (3000/2500) in attack! Attack the 'Man-Eater Bug', WHITE LIGHTING ATTACK!!!!" Next thing Bakura knew he was taking his deck off the field and going to the floor. 'It's O.K. Bakura, it was just one stupid duel you didn't even agree on. Don't worry about it.' But he was worried about it, he didn't know what Kaiba was going to do if he would of lost. Kaiba just walked up to Bakura, then lead him back to the dungeon.
"Hey Bakura." Yugi said, still setting down. "I heard that you lost. Sorry." Yugi just looked down at the floor. "So Yugi are you ready to duel?" Kaiba asked. "Will you give me a while!" "Fine, but if you are tring to think of a way to beat me, you will be thinking for a long time." "Shut up! You can't even ask someone to a duel without kidnapping them!!" Luise yelled in fustration. Kauba just give her a hard stare. It just hard for her not to step back, then they walked out. "Bakura do you have my necklace?" "Ya" He hands her her necklace and feels the powers draining out of him. She slips on the necklace and looks at Yugi. "What's wrong?" "I was just thinking about something." He still had his head down, he looked like a little kid looking like that. 'What if I can't beat him, it took me AND Yami Exodia to beat him. What if I can't do it.' "Why didn't you tell us that your necklace could let us talk to each other mentally?" Bakura asked. "I keep the powers a secert from everyone, expect my brother and mom." Yugi had finally looked up to listen to this, "Well how many powers does it have?" "I am not sure, I can think of about five at the top of my head. But it has all the powers from the millenium items, the powers it enhanced from me, then its powers." She started to count on her fingers then found out it would be alot more then ten. "Hmmm....I don't really know how many powers it has." Bukura walks over next to Yugi and sits down next him, then he pulls out his cards, Yugi notices that his hands are shaking really badly. "Why are you shaking really badly like that?" Yugi asks, sounding very concerned, "I have never been without my Ring/Yami this long, I'm just not used to not having him around." He then starts to finger through his deck.
About ten minutes later Kaiba walks into the dungeon, "So are you ready Yugi?" "As ready as I'll ever be." A different guard opens the door. "Here you go Yugi." Luise hands him the necklace this time. "Thanks." Yugi walks out and Luise watchs as he walks out of site. 'O.K. Yugi, are you ready?' 'I'm not sure, I'm really nervous about this duel because I don't have Yami with me.' 'Well don't worry about it, hey don't forget when I duel Kaiba I won't even have any help.' Yugi thought about that, and knew that she was right, so she was probably more nervous then both of them. "Yugi are you just going to stand there all day, or are you going to duel?" Kaiba asked, sounding fustrated about having to wait.
Yugi stepped onto the platform and say the life points set to 2000 again. 'O.K. Yugi, don't lose your cool, just stay calm.' 'I'll try.' "Duel!" "I'll make the first move Kaiba." Kaibe didn't seem to mind at all. "I play 'Curse of Dragon' (2000/1500) in attack." "Wow, what a supriseing move." Kaiba said sarcastley. "My opening is going to the 'Hitotsu-Me Giant' (1200/1000)" 'Wait don't attack, he might have something under his sleeve.' Luise said, sounding worried. 'But he didn't lay anything down.' 'Well then go.' "I attack your 'Hitotsu-Me Gaint' with my 'Curse of Dragon'" 'This is not good Yugi' 'Well ya, I can see that.' "O.K. Kaiba, I play 'Silver Fang' (1200/800) in defense" Kaiba drew a card and layed it down, "I use 'Just Desserts' taking 500 life points for every monser you have on the field." 'no' Yugi heard Luise say quitly. "Well, seems you can only win with Yami's help." "That is not true!!" Kaiba just walked off the platform. 'Stop being defensive Yugi, just ignore him' 'But....' 'But nothing Yugi, you know what he said was not true. We will be face to face in a couple of minutes anyway.' Yugi thought of responding to her, but couldn't think of anything to respond with, so he just started walking.
"Hey Yugi" He looked over to Bakura and saw him still sitting there looking through his deck. "Hey Bakura, so you heard." Yugi walked over to Bakura and sat down next to him again. As he passed Luise he handed her the necklace. 'This isn't good, not all my information got to him, the engery must be going down. I need an hour for it to charge up again.' "So ho are feeling right now Luise?" Kaiba said teasingly, "Oh shut the hell up." She whispered under her breath. "What was that?" "Non ya" Luise responded. "How long do you need?" Kaiba said in irrition. "I need an hour and a half, and that's all. Now leave." "No one bosses me around like that!!" "Watch me." Luise was so calm it suprised Yugi and Bakura, but it suprised Kaiba the most. "A hour and a half, that's all you have to prepare." Kaiba didn't even wait for an answer, he just walked out. 'Good redden' She thought as she started to gather energy for her necklace.

Ch 3- One Won, Two Lost
Well, alot of the power was returning, but it had only been 45 minutes, and after this, she only had 30 minutes to fine tune her deck. 'Boy this is going to be hard.' She thought as she gathered up her powers. "I sure hope she can gather her powers in time." Yugi said as he sat on the other side of the dungeon oppsite of Luise. "I do too, Yugi." Bakura said setting by Yugi.
"Joey wake up." He heard Tea say as he opened his eyes. Then he felt the pain in his stomach, "OW!!" He clutched his stomach and sat up. He was in Yugi's living room. "Well your finally up Joey, here you are, it will get that pain out of your stomach." "Thanks Gramps." Yugi's gramdpa had been the finaical expensives for the shop when he heard Joey yell Yugi's name, he ran out and saw Joey on the ground, and a black car speeding away. "What is it anyway, it smells horrible!!" "It's an old medicine remindie that works like a charm." Joey stared at it, 'oh well, it's better then having this horrible pain in my stomach.' He drank it and started to gag it tasted so bad, but in an instant his stomach fine. "So Joey, you've been out for an hour and 45 minutes, you sure can sleep for a long time." Tristen was on the couch next to where he was sitting. "Oh ya, well you weren't punched in the stomach as hard as I was." Joey 'almost' got up, but the instant he moved his stomach started hurting again. "You need to wait about 10 minutes before the medicine is fully done." Gramdpa said. "Now you tell me." Joey said in an annoyed voice. "I can't get a hold of Kaiba, so we will probably need to go to the Kaiba corp building and talk to him face to face." Tea said, not sounding very happy about her idea. "We need to get to Kaiba and get Luise, Yugi, and Bakura back."
"So Bakura, how are you doing??" Yugi asked. Bakura was still shaking really bad, and still fingering through his deck. "I'm fine, just fine." Bakura said in a low voice. That worried Yugi, but he decided not to say anything for a while. He decided it was to depressing looking at Bakura in this state, so you turned his eyes over to Luise. He noticed that she was just clutching her necklace, it was just so amazing that such a tiny thing could be so powerful. He just stared at Luise for a while. Luise would look up every once and a while and return his stare, then hang her head again. 'It must be tiring for her to be doing that.'
'Man, this is killing me.' Luise thought as she gathered her powers. 'I wish I could contact Tea, Joey, or Tristen but that would mean I would have to use some of my energy. Man I hate having this stupid thing.' She then looked back up at Yugi, then looked over to Bakura, 'Poor thing, I wish I could of helped him more.' She then looked back down. She then started to mumble some words that Yugi couldn't really hear, let along understand.
"O.K., it's been 15 minutes, can I get up now???" Joey said in a fustraited voice. "Sure Joey, go ahead." Gramdpa said. He had to clean up the mess he made making Joey his medicine. "I'm help you out Gramdpa." Tea said, starting the clean the counters. "Wait, wait. You need to get Joey ready so you can go to the Kaiba building." Tea looked at Gramps and saw that he was serious. "O.K. Come on Joey your holding us back." Joey got up and dug into his pocket for his duel monsters cards. 'Good, there still there.' He put his hands into his side pockets and annouced that he was ready to go. As they started out they turned around and saw Gramps looking at them, "Bring back Yugi safe and sound please." "Ahh, don't worry, we won't let ya down." Joey said in his street bot accent.
'Well, that's down and over with, now I need to fine tune my deck.' Bakura and Yugi looked up to see Luise getting up and reaching for her deck. 'This is good, she has all her power back.' Yugi thought as he watched her sit back down and finger through her deck. 'O.K., I need this and that and......' She talked to hersalf mentally as she fingered through her deck. All out of a sudden Yugi got up and tried to go over to her, but Bakura had stopped him before he got two steps, "Here give this to her." Then Bakura went back to going through his deck. 'How'd he know??' He walked over to her and held out two cards, "What are these Yugi??" Luise took them and turned them over, they were The Change of Heart and Dark Magican. "Thanks Yugi, but why are you giving them to me??" "I thought that if I gave you a special card of mine it would help, and Bakura thought so too." She looked past Yugi and looked at Bakura, then whispered under her breath, "Thank you Bakura." She thought she saw him stop for a second, almost like he was saying 'Your Welcome' but she wasn't sure. 'Your Welcome Luise.' Bakura thought as he fingere through his deck. She then held them up, "I will not lose with these two cards, thank you Yugi." Yugi just nodded his head and sat next to Bakura again. 'Don't worry you two, I won't let you down....I hope.' She thought as she started to finger through her deck again, she then started to sing at that moment. "Wow." Bakura said under his breath as he paused to listen to her voice, "..and who can say that you have found heart....." and she wouldn't stop, not until she heard someone coming in. "Are you ready??" She heard as Kaiba walked in. "Ya, let me just shuffle my deck real quick."
They all walked out and stared at the still bright day. "Well, how do we get there??" Tristen asked. "We have legs, lets start using them." Tea said as she started off towards the Kaiba building. "Hey wait up!!!!" Joey started after her, shortly followed by Tristen. "Tea why are you so anxious to get Yugi, Bakura, and Luise back????" Tristen asked. "I don't like Kaiba, and I never will. It worries me that they are in his grips." Tea said, walking faster then both of them by 10 MPH. Joey thought that she was moving like a rocket compared to his slow moving pace. "Hey wait up Tea, this isn't a marathon." Joey gasped as he tried to keep up. Tea heard how hard he was trying to keep up, so she slowed down just a bit....*but only a little bit*....to let Joey catch up. 'I hope their all alright' Tea thought as she speed down the street.
Luise had already been ushered onto the dueling arena. "DUEL!" They said in unison, but when the life points went up she saw that they where not 2000, but 3000. "Why are the life points different?" "I thought I would try something different for a change." Kaiba said. "That's fine with me. Who's going first??" "You can go first." Kaiba said, sounding like this was going to be an easy victory for him. 'Boy is he ever wrong, now I know this is cheating but lets take a look at my deck, then his.' Luise closed her eyes and bagin to draw. When she got her 5 cards she opened her eyes. Then looked over to where Kaiba's deck was and closed her eyes again. 'This is not good, his Blue Eyes is he 10th card, I will need to finish him very quickly.' She disliked using her powers to cheat, but she needed to win. She then got this weird reading in her head, 'I hope their all alright.' Oh, this is not good at all, Tea, Joey, and Tristen are on their way. She then took her attention off that and started the duel. "I play 'Ansatsu' (1700/1200) in attack mode and this card face-down in defense, ending my turn." Kaiba looked onto the field and looked at his hand. "O.K., nice move. I play 'Flame Cerebrus' (2100/1800) in attack, play this card face down, and I destroy your 'Ansatsu'." "That wasn't too hard, I expected more from you." Kaiba mocked as he watched Luise put her card into the Graveyard. "I'm not done with you yet Kaiba." She as she drew another card from her deck. "I play this card face down, and 'Giai the Fierce Knight' (2300/2100) in attack and destroy your 'Flame Cerebrus', that's 200 life points." She said with a grin as she watched the life points go down to 2800. "O.K. Luise I play this card face down and that's the best move I have." 'This seems awful suspecious.' "O.K. Kaiba, I will not attack your face down card just yet. Instead I find out what ALL your face down cards are. I activate my face down card's effect. 'Stern Mystic' (1500/1200), now show me all your face down cards." 'Eletric Lizard' (850/800)-'Trap Hole' "O.K. Now that that is out of my system, I will just leave my 'Stern Mystic' in defence." 'O.K. I can't attack that 'Eletric Lizard'...' "O.K. Luise you may of gotten a peek at my face-down cards, but that dosen't mean you can look again. I play this card face down, and 'Launcher Spider' (2200/2500) in attack, and attack you 'Fierce Knight', and compine him with 'Sword of Deep-Seated' (2700/3000), RAPID FIRE ATTACK!!!" 'This is not good from my side, but great for Kaiba.' She thought as she watched 'Gaia' be blown to oblivion. Luise then got a brillent idea. "O.K. Kaiba I play my 'Harpie Lady' (1300/1400) in attack, and activate 'Elegant Egotist' summoning my 'Harpie Lady Sisters' (1950/2100) in attack, then I play 'De-Spell', and I play one move card, 'Cyber Shield' bringing up my attack to 2450. 'Harpie Lady Sisters' ATTACK THE 'LAUNCHER SPIDER'!!!!" Kaiba was taken back by the attack, and just watched his monster be destroyed. "I never really liked the mechinac melt-down anyway." He remarked. "....and I did something else too Kaiba, you can't destroy my 'Harpie Lady Sisters' with 'Trap Hole'." "You idiot, don't you think I know that!!!" Kaiba seemed really fustrated, good, she wanted him fustrated.
"Come on Tristen, we're almost there." Tea urged them both on as they watched the building get closer, and closer every step they made. "Will you slow down, we will get there in good time." Tristen said, trying *unsuccessfully* to slow down Tea. She just gave them a hard look, at kept on going. 'Don't you dare try to stop me, otherwise you will end up in a world of hurt.' She thought a she pushed Joey and Tristen along the side walk. "Don't worry Yugi, we will save you" She whispered under her breath.
'Oh no!! He has drawn his 'Blue Eyes', good, at least it's my turn.' She looked down at her field, then she thought again 'I hate using my powers to duel.' "O.K. Kaiba, I activate my face-down card, 'Card Destruction'. Now discard your hand and draw five new cards." She did the same and got the card she was waiting for, "But for now it's your turn now." "Fine, I play 'Summoned Skull' (2500/1200). in attack, but I am going to wait to destroy your 'Harpie Lady Sisters'." 'O.K. now what??' She wondered as she looked at the field. "I play 'Dark Magican Girl' (2000/2100) and compine her with this equip magic card 'Sword of Deep-Seated' and this trap card 'Reinforcements'. Making her attack 3100 and her defense 2500. Now 'Dark Magican Girl' attack 'Summoned Skull'!!!!!" Kaiba saw a bright light and a huge ball of energy, then he watched his 'Summoned Skull' be destroyed, puting her in the lead. "Luise..." She looked over to him. "True your magican is stronge but I will soon beat you!!!" "O.K. Kaiba but for now I switch my 'Magican' to defense, and that ends my turn." She wanted to talk to Bakura, or Yugi so badly, but she couldn't risk wasting her powers. "I play this card face down in defense and that ends my turn." Luise just looked up at him and smiled, "I might not totally beat you with this move but I sure will put a huge dent in your life points." "What!?!?!?" "I play 'Just Desserts', taking 1500 life points from ya." "Now what are you going to do Kaiba???" Kaiba just looked up at her like he had already won the match. "Haven't you forgotten?? I have three 'Blue Eyes' in my deck." 'Not good.' "I play the unstoppable 'Blue Eyes White Dragon' (3000/2500) in attack and destroy your 'Stern Mystic', White Lighting Attack!!!!" 'This sucks' "Your lucky the puny monster was in defense." "Well who said I only had one 'Reinforcements'??? I activate my 'Reinforcements' and the 'Magican's' attack is now at 3100. Attack the 'Blue Eyes' right now!!!!!" 'Well, that should put a shock to his system.' Kaiba was standing there, wide eyed and totally phased by the attack. Than he snapped back into reality. "I will not go down without a fight!!!!!" 'O.K. now he's just running scard' "Fine, but stop bladdering, and start dueling." Kaiba drew his card and put a card down, "I play the 'Mystical Elf' (800/2000) in defense." She just looked at Kaiba and smiled. "This is your end. I attack your face down card that is in attack. And....there goes your life points." Kaiba and Luise watched the life point counter go to zero. "...and you lose."
"Do you have an appointment??" The seceratury asked Tea. "No, but we really need to talk to Kaiba, right now!!!!!!!!!!!" "I'm sorry, but unless you have an appointment, you can't see him." Joey looked over to the seceratery, then at Tea. She looked like she was about to explode. "Cool down Tea." Then he blinked at her and she calmed down a little, then she turned to the seceratery, breathed in deeply and said, "O.K. then, we will make sure to get an appointment next time. Thank you." The secerstery just looked at her for a moment, then went back to her work. "O.K., now why did we leave again Joey??" She gave him the hard anime look. "Relax, I have an idea." "Great.." Tristen said, feeling unasured.
Luise woke up with a horrible pain in her neck.Then she lefted up her head and looked at Bakura and Yugi. They both where awake and talking about something, but she couldn't make it out. When they noticed she was awake they went over to her and ask how she was. "What happened." She tried to say, but only a groan came out. She feels for her necklace, and finds it. She then feels in her pocket, and she finds her deck there, she pulls it out. She flips through it and finds the 'Dark Magican Girl' is missing. Yugi sees that she has finally noticed and tells her what happened, "Kaiba saw our duel and was impressed by how you beat me so easliy. So first he challenged Bakura, then me, then you. Before he dueled us he took both our items and we didn't have there help while we where dueling. But when you two dueled you some how beat him. So he had a guard ready just in case, and he knocked you out so you wouldn't remember. He also took the card that beat him, the 'Dark Magican Girl'." She was then aware of the horrible headache she has had since she woke up. She clutchs her head and groans again. She then manages to say,"I can never forget anything, my necklace is where my memories are, and my powers. My Nacklace has magic. Remember when I told you that it is probably stronger then your items. Well Kaiba must not of known, so he did not take it." Yugi and Bakura gave each other puzzled looks, they did not understand her very well, with her having the headache of the century on hand and all. They turned their attention back to Luise and saw that she was about to faint again from the pain in her head. "I sure hope Luise is going to be alright." Bakura said as he help her up. "Ya, I agree." Yugi replied.
"What are we going to do with them Kaiba sir??" Kimo asked, looking at his boss. "One sec Kimo." Kaiba said as he looked at the security monitors. He was looking at the most recent photos, and what he saw suprised him. He looked in wonder as he saw Tea, Joey, and Tristen talking to one of his seceraterys. "Kimo, you did a slopy job." "What do you mean sir??" "You see those three teens, those are Yugi's friends, they are here to get him back. Now go down to the dungeon and take Yugi and Bakura to them, I still want to keep Luise here." "Yes, Kaiba sir." Kimo walked away, and towards the dungeons.
"Excuse me, are you Tea??" Kimo walked up to Tea and looked down at her, waiting for an answer. "Ya, and what you going to do about it??" "Tea, calm down." Tristen told her. "Please wait here." Kimo said, then walked away. "Wonder what that was all about??"
"Yugi, Bakura I need you to come with me." Kimo opened the door and stared at them. "But what about Luise?" Bakura asked. "She is to stay here." "Well I'm not leaving until Luise can come too, and I'm not leaving until I get my ring back too." Bakura said, not moving from his spot. "Ya, I want my puzzle back too." Yugi said, sounding angery. Kimo just walked out and talked into his walkie-talkie. "Sir, one of the boys won't leave, and they are demanding their items back." "O.K., well give Yugi back his puzzle back, but he must go. Let the other stay, but don't give him back his Ring." "Understood." Kimo then went away, then came back with the puzzle in hand. "Here you are Yugi Muto. Now you must come with me." Yugi saw the Kimo was three times his size, so he obeyed, and took his puzzle. 'Yami, are you there???' 'Yes Yugi, but where is Bakura and Luise??' 'Luise had to stay, and Bakura wouldn't leave without her, and they won't give him back his Ring.' 'Oh' That was all Yami could say, thinking about the situation.
"Why do we have to wait here??" Joey asked. "Joey, Tea, Tristen...... Here is what you are here for, now leave." Kimo walked up behind them and just about throwing Yugi at them. "Yugi!!!" They all saw how badly beat up he was. Joey caught him and held him up. "Hey!! Where are Bakura and Luise??" Tristen said, looking around, hoping to see two other body guards with Luise and Bakura. "They are to say here for a while longer" Kimo replied. "Why is that??" Joey asked. "Orders from Kaiba himself." They all look at each. Yugi looks at them as if trying to say, 'We need to get them out of there.' Then they all walk out, or more, are ushered out. When they get a good whiles away Yugi says, "We to get them out of there, Luise mostly. Bakura was suppose to come too, but he stayed with Luise." "Why didn't they let Luise??" "Because she was the only one to beat Kaiba."
"Oh, where is Yugi??" Luise had waken up just then, and it starled Bakura a bit. "He was let go, I was given the option to go, but I decided to stay with you." "Why??" Luise's head was feeling better, but she still had a headache, and everything was a little tilted to her. "I didn't what anything to happen to you." Bakura answered. "Thanks Bakura." She looked up at him and gave him a stare that made him blush. "No problem. Yugi would of stayed too, but they made him leave." Bakura said. She tried to sit up all the way, but couldn't, she felt like lead. Bakura saw this and helped her up. When she was up, she was sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with him. Her head was still hurting pretty badly, so she put her head on his shoulder. He allowed this and just stared up at the ceiling. "I wonder why they wanted Yugi to leave so badly??" Luise heard Bakura wondering out load and said, "I do too, I wish I hadn't used all my powers in the duel." He looked down at her and stared in wonder, "You used all your powers with just that one duel??" "Ya, that's why I have the headache of the century." He just looked at her then looked back up to the ceiling. 'Where are you guys??'

Yugi,Tea, Joey, and Tristen had made it back in good time. Yugi's grandpa had met them at the door, and saw how bad a state Yugi was in. So he
cleaned some of his cuts and said that Yugi needed some sleep. Of course yugi had rejected, but Grandpa insisted, even Yami said he should go. "So what are we going to do about getting Luise and Bakura back??" Joey asked. "That's a good question Joey. I just wish I knew the answer." Tea answered, staring down at her hands. "Maybe we should wait and see what happens. Maybe after a short time Kaiba will just let them go." Both Tea and Joey stared daggers at Tristen's thought. "So......What you are telling us is that Kaiba_will_just_let_them_go????" Tea said in a matter-of-fact manner. "Ya, I don't think he would keep them there for that long, what all would he need with them???" Tristen answered, trying his best to defend himself. "I don't know." Joey said, not sure who's side to be on.
Luise had fallin' back asleep on Bakura's should and had been out for about an hour. 'She must be really, out.' Bakura had gone back to fingering through his deck, picking out which cards he needed to take out, and which cards he needed to add. Just then Luise woke up, this time with a start. "Please let that of been a dream." She said almost so quitely, Bakura almost didn't catch it. "What happened in your dream??" Luise just looked at him, then hanged her head. She didn't want to tell him one of the few things not even her own parents even know. She was very ashemed of this secert, and didn't want anyone to know. "Ow!!, What was that for!?!?!" Bakura just looked at her in confusion as she said this, and noticed she put her hand up to her cheek. 'Could it be that she has a Yami??'
*Ring, Ring* "Hello, Muto residence." Grandpa said. "Yes this is Nena, Luise's mother, I would like to know if you have seen Luise at all today." "No, I'm sorry." "Well, do you know where she is at the moment??" "No, I'm sorry." Joey happened to be walking by, and heard this, "Hey, Gramps, who ya talking ta??" Joey said over Gramdpa's shoulder. He was relunctint to reply, be then said, "Nena, Luise's mother." Joey, hearing this, snatched the phone out of Grandpa's hand and nearly yelling into the phone, "Nothing is wrong, Luise is just fine, in fact........" He was cut short when Tristen slapped him up side the head and grabbed the phone. "Hello, Mrs. Reta, I won't lie to you, we are also looking for Luise, but it's all under control." 'Not lieing, that is one of the biggest lies I have ever heard' Tea thought as she heard this. "Oh, ok, since everything is alright, I guess I don't have to worry. Thank you, good bye." Tristen hears the other side of the phone go quite, and he hangs up. "All under control, sure........" Tristen freezes and he turns around and sees Yami's face two feet away from his. "I thought you where in bed." "Well, Yugi is, but I'm not." Yami said, looking at Tristen as if he had murdered some one. "Well, do you have any ideas on how to save Luise and Bakura??" Tea asked, standing right behind Yami. "Actually, I do, but I need a special something first."
Luise's cheek had started to turn red after a few minutes. She had also started to wimper a little bit. "What is wrong Luise, why are you so upset??" Bakura kept on nagging Luise for her to tell him. 'I wish I could tell you, but I can't.' She just got up, and started to paced about the room. She had been trying to hold her back for so long. It was easy when they had gotten here, but it was getting harder, and harder because she was still so weak.+So what's been going on since I've been asleep??+ A girl said that was a little older then Luise. She looked just like Lusie only she had green eyes instead of brown. =Bit me, I ain't gona tell ya!!= Her yami gave her a hard stare. +Let me out you weak girl, right now, and I will find out myself.+ =Why should I??= "Ow!!" She winched in pain as her yami shot a jolt of engery at her shoulder. Luise almost collapsed from the pain. All that Luise we saying was also being said aloud, even though she didn't realise it. She was so used to it, that she didn't even notice. "Luise who are you talking too.....??" Bakura asked, having a hint of slightly knowing what was going on. =Do you mind, I am not talking to you now!!!= "Oh, no one, just argueing with myself, I do it all the time." *giggles nervesly* "Ow!!" +That's for ignoring me.....+ Luises yami said after she shoot another jolt of engery at Luise, +.....and this is for having that sassy attitude and thinking you where stronger then me.+ Luise's yami punched her in the stomach so hard that Luise fell down to the floor, nearly knocking Bakura down had he not been quick enough. "Bakura, we need your ring right now!!"
"Well, don't keep us in suspense, what is this special something that you need??" Yami had just sit down on the couch and went quite, in deep thought. "Well........" Tea said impatienctly. Yami snapped back to attention, and said, "I need something of Lusie's, other wise we won't be able to contact her. If we can't do that then we can't help her out. The only flaw with the whole contacting problem is that if she has a yami, the yami will probably block the transmission, unless we agree with her." Yami then went into another stage of deep thought. "I didn't think she had a yami." Joey said, Yami obsevely not hearing this. 'I don't want to risk her having a yami, then me having to play a Yami no game (Game of Darkness), that will take up alot of my energy, and I won't have enough time to talk to Lusie. But if we don't, we risk Luise and Bakura not returning.' Yami was in quite a pickle.
"What did you just say?!?! You know I don't have my ring, Kaiba took it." Bakura said in startlement 'Actually, I haven't seen Kaiba in a while......' "Besides, even if I did have my ring, it would just mean more trouble, and you still haven't told me what is wrong with you." Bakura said, trying to sound calmer then he was. "Well, it goes li..........." she fell to the floor as her yami triped her and started to kick her in the stomach. "STOP IT. LEAVE ME ALONE, I'M NOT AFARID OF YOU!!!!!" At this her yami made a small jester with her hands and Luise flew about 10 feet in the small prison. +You know I will just kill you if you
tell him, and I might even take him out. Now you wouldn't want that now would you.+
"What's all the rack down there??" Kemo asked one of the other body guards. "I don't know sir. I was just going down there to find out." "I will come with you as soon as I contact Mr. Kaiba." Kaiba had also noticed all the racket down where the two where held. He went to his walkie-talkie, pressed a button, and started to talk into it. "What is all that racket down there??" "Kaiba sir, we are going down to the dungeon to find out. "Well wait, for me Kemo, and I will join you. Oh, and get that ring that belongs to Bakura." "Yes sir. Kemo out." Kaiba walked out of his office and started down the secert stair case to the dungeons.
Yami had retired to his/Yugi's bedroom, and said that all he needed was some time to think. He knew what he was going to get of Luise's, he just didn't know how to get it. Tristen had told her mother that Lusie was fine, how was he going to ask for something of hers. *groaning* He heard Yugi moan, sitting up in his bed, and holding his head. "Are you alright Yugi??" Yami asked, walking over to Yugi. "My head hurts, and my arm is killing me." Yugi answered, fisrt holding his head, then putting his attention to his right arm. "I can understand why my head hurts, I just don't know why my arm hurts so badly. It feels like someone has been kicking it, or something, I really can't describe it." "Ah, your up Yugi..." Grandpa came in to check on Yami, but also found Yugi up. "Hey!! Am I glad to see you!!" Yugi tried to get up, but was help back by Yami, "You need to rest." "Don't worry about it Yugi, I will come over there." Grandpa walked over to Yugi and sat down on his bed. Then he pulled out something that was behind his back. "Drink this Yugi." Having lived with Grandpa for so long, Yugi knew what it was. So he just sayed that he wasn't hungry, and Grandpa didn't make him drink it. He then walked out, seeming a little disappointed, but still happy his grandson was ok. "So you have any idea on how to get Bakura and Luise back??" Yugi asked, remembering what happened.
+So you give up yet???+ Luise was beat up pretty bad. Bakura couldn't figure out why, if maybe he would have his ring, he could figure out why. Lusie and Bakura then turned their heads towards the door that lead out of the dungeon as they heard foot steps. "Bakura, I believe this is yours." Kaiba walked in and held out the Millenium Ring between the bars. Bakura walked over and grabbed the ring. As he grabed it he felt the power flow back into him. He had to get used to having his yami back. ^So what's been going on since I've been gone??^ Yami Bakura asked. Bakura froze as he heard his yami's voice. ^I don't know can I??^ Bakura signed as he heard this. He hated how rude his yami was, but he decided to ask anyway. Yami, of course, was suprised by the question, Yami started to chant in an ancient tounge and the ring became red. Then Bakura saw a white mist come out of him and head towards Lusie and engulf her, then disapered.
Everything had looked in contact, except Luise, but he didn't even think twice about her, so Kaiba had left a little while ago, still keeping the Dark Magican Girl in his pocket. So he didn't see any of this.
+Why are you.......+ Luise's yami was stopped in the middle of her sentence when she noticed Bakura, no not Bakura, but someone else. She turned to him and asked, " What are you doing here, and who are you??? I demand an answer right now!!" Yami had entered into Luise's soul room and heard a girl shooting at someone. "I am here on account of Ryou Bakura. I am Yami Bakura, now I demand an answer, who are you??" Luise's yami walked away from the badly beaten up Luise and walked over to Yami. "I am the wind in the Sahura, I am the running water in the Nile...." As Yami heard this it sounded awfully familiar. "You are the the grass in the sand, you are the fox in the hole, you are Hekara!!" Hekara just stared at him and smiled an evil grin. "Well now that you know who I am, you know what I can do." Yami did know, and he didn't like it either. There where few evil things that he didn't like, this was one of them. "Ya, you take over peoples soul rooms, then when you find someone better to camp in, you set fire to the soul room and...." Yami didn't want to finish, it was to cruel. "Well, I will be leaving you now. Thanks for the info." Yami started to walk off, but then was stoped. "Wait, don't you think I am going to let you go with out something to remember me....." She waved her hands in a weird jester and a sword appeared in her hand. "Now come here Yami......."
*knock knock* "Who's there??" Yami Yugi here's Stephen yell form behind the apartment door. It's me Yugi. "Ummm......" He hears Stephen say uncertainly, "I am a friend of Luise's." Then he hears Nena behind the door, "Let him in Stephen." The door opens and he sees the spikey haired boy he saw at the game shop. "Come in, would you like something to eat??" Yami was taken by the question, but answered in a kind voice, "No thank you. I am just here to pick-up something for Luise." "Oh, well her room is over there." Tea had given Yami something that might help, but she wasn't sure if it even execist. Bakura had told her about a journal she kept, it might be the strongest thing she had. Yami rumanged in her room, trying not mess anything up too much. 'Uricka!!' Yami thought as he found it. "Thank you Mrs. Reta. I will bring it back as soon as possible." "Good bye......what was it.......Yugi." She was waving and smiling as he left, but she knew something was wrong.
Yami Bakura woke back up in his soul room and saw Ryou taking care of his slashes. "What hap.........." Yami stoped talking as he left his lips go on fire. They had also been slashed pretty badly. Ryou heard the last part and went over to Yami, "You shouldn't talk, you were in pretty back shape when Hekara sent you back." Yami made some motions with his hands, which hurt, and sent some blood down his arms. Ryou understood and got him a mirror. Yami nearly screamed bloody murder when he saw his reflection. He looked nearly like swish cheese, of course that is over-exazerating, but he did look pretty bad. Then Ryou saw that Yami wanted an explantion. "You where trapped in Hekara's soul room for a time, and she slashed you with a sword. She then sent you back, and I started to clean your cuts. You should know the rest." He did, he just didn't know what to do about it.
"Hekara, why did you do that to Yami??" Luise demanded again. She wanted to know why her yami was so mean to their unexpected visitor. Everytime all Hekara would say was, "Because I felt like it." that was all Luise could get out of her. But now it was getting on Hekara's nerves, so she shoot a sharp look with those green eyes, and said something in ancient tounge. Luise thought it would be best to just leave and once again, lock herself into her soul room. So she just limped on out, making sure Hekara didn't notice. Of course, Hekara did, but just stayed where she was, she had had enough fun for today.

Ch 5-Hekara's True Self
Yami had returned from his little visit to Lusie's apartment. He had the journal, and decided to read it before he started the process. "Wow, I would of never of known she had these dreams." Yami said as he was flipping though the pages.
'I wonder whats going on??' Unknowingly, Stephen had followed Yami to the game shop. His mother had sent him. He didn't want to go, but his mother made him.
"So what all do you to do Yami??" Joey asked, sitting next to him, and looking over Yami's shoulder to read the journal. "Well........ I need someone close to her, but Bakura is not here." Then they all look a Tea. "Tea would you do the honors??" Tristen said. "Sure, be glad too." Tea responded.
'Oh, I know what they are doing I can help' "Hold up you guys, I can help!!!" Everyone turned towards the door and say Stephen comming in. "Well the is a suprise." Tea said, looking at Stephen is suprise. "I can help, who is closer to her then her own brother. "But Stephen, how did you get here??" Yami asked puzzled. "Never mind that, I am the only one who Hekara trust. Don't tell Luise but I know about her." "Know about what?? Who is Hekara??" Yami asked. "I am the only one that actually knows about Hekara, and her yami trust me for some reason." "Well that works for me." Tristen said, looking at Stephen with a smile on his lips. "Ok Stephen, this is what I need you to do........" Yami went off into explaining what he needed to get through to Luise.
Lusie had been in her soul room for some time. Hekara had thought many times to just take over the body, but decided aganist it. She just didn't feel like going out quite yet. She had been keeping herself busy by cleaning and sharpening her beloved sword. She cared very deeply for har sword, and that was the only thing she has truely loved.
*Flash Back*-Ancient Egypt
"Mother why is everyone so mean to me?? I didn't do anything wrong, did I?" A 13 year old Hekara asked her mother, with tears flowing down from her green eyes. "It's ok Hekara, they just misunderstand you, that's all. I'm sure if they just got to know you, they would be your friends." Hekara, taking this advice, what up to a lonely looking girl one day, and decided to introduce herself. "Hello, my name is Hekara, what is your name??" She asked the black haired girl. The girl had shoulder length black hair, and brown eyes. She looked up and responded, "My name in Arnenda." The two started talking and pretty soon the two were the best of friends. They would always do everything together. Pretty soon they even found out that their birthdays were on the same day.
"Happy 14th Birthday!!!" Hekara and Arnenda had introduced their parents together, and the families bacame good friends. On their birthday, they all decided to throw Hekara and Arnenda a suprise birthday party.
The two had been raving for weeks about two swords that were meant to have two friends own them. They were called the Swords of Tieing Strengths. They where beautiful, and the two wanted them to signatify their friendship.
The two could hardly believe their eyes, the party wasn't at all that big, but they were looking at what was on the table. They ran to the table and picked up the swords. They had to switch when they even saw that the swords were engraved with their names. They both just stared at their swords, then turned and Hekara asked, "OK, which one of you are going to teach us how to use these??" Arnenda's father stepped up and said, "I am, I am an expert with swords."
The two started training the next day. They learned quick and they where soon the two best teens in town with swords. They simply loved their swords, and what they represented.
But.........
One day tragity struck. A gang of desert theives had came in town, raiding the whole town and setting alot of it on fire. Hekara and her family had made it to safety. When the desert theives had left, Hekara, clutching the helm of her sword, ran to where Arnenda's house had been. She looked around and couldn't find Arnenda. "ARNENDA!!!" She yelled, but with no aveal. "Hekara....." She heard a weak voice in the rumble. She ran to where the voice was coming from and found Arnenda. Arnenda had been burned pretty badly, and she had also been cut severley. "Hekara........Where is........my sword??" Hekara got up and saw the sword a few meters away. She went to it, and brought it back to Arnenda. Arnenda took it and held it to her heart. "Hekara, you...........are my best.....friend." Then she went limp. "Wait, come back, Arnenda. Please don't go, you are my best friend, please wait." Hekara knew what had happened, but she didn't want to except it.
*End Flash Back*
Since then her heart has grown cold and lonely. She has taken great care in making sure that her sword was always perfect. She didn't want to forget her one and only friend. Never.
"So your telling me that if I can get to my sis, I can help her muster up her powers and use them to get her out??" "Yes, but it is very dangerous, if her yami does not trus you, you will more then likely have to play a yami no game. If that happens, I want you to come right back, and get me." "OK, I understand." Yami had noted that Stephen had seemed almost happy to be going to save his sister. He guessed they had a very stronge brother-sister relationship. Like Joey and his sister.
"Ok, you ready Stephen??" "Yep." He said excitely. "Ok....." Yami went off into chanting in some ancient tounge. The puzzle hanging around Yami's neck started to glow white. "What is happening??" Tea asked, looking at the puzzle. Stephen, holding Luise's journal, started to fall asleep. Then a misty cloud rose from his little body, and started to drift off. Yami then stopped chanting, and watched the mist float away. "Good luck" He whispered as the mist disappared.
Yami Bakura had been in his soul room for a while, waiting for his wounds to at least heal enough so he could move and blood would't come out. The whole time he was thinking of how much he hated that Hekara women. "Yami, you can get up now, your wounds should be healed enough now." Ryou said, pocking his head into his yami's soul room. Ryou had on the other hand, been worrying about how Luise was doing. He hoped she was alright. The only thing he wish right now was to get to Lusie and help her. 'Why is Hekara so cruel??' Ryou was puzzled over this question, he just couldn't figure it out.
"What's that??" Bakura snapped his attention back to Luise when he heard that question. He looked around and saw a white mist enter the dungeon. He watched it and start to move to Luise. He reconigsed as the same mist that his yami used to get into Luise. "I know what it is Luise...." She looked over at him, "....I just don't know who it is." Bakura finished. "Well, lets find out." Luise said, and just sat where she was. The mist entered Luise and she smiled as she noticed who it was. "Stephen!!" Bakura gasped as he heard the name.
"Luise, I'm here, you in here??" Luise stepped out of her soul room and pulled Stephen into her soul room. "What are you doing, be quite!" She said in a stern voice. She let him go, and went back to her gentle voice. "Ok, who was the one who sent you, and why are you here??" Her face was gentle, but her eyes showed that she demaned an answer. "Don't be mad at him, but it was Yami Yugi who sent me, and he sent me to help you get out." Then they both turned around, Lusie shoving Stephen behind something. "Who is in here??" Hekara demanded. "No one, I wouldn't want anyone else to end up like Yami Bakura." She answered. "I know someone is in here, I can since it." Then Hekara started her search of Luise's soul room. "Hey, wait a sec, you don't have permission to seach here!!" Lusie demanded. When Hekara wouldn't stop she went up to her and slapped her on the cheek. Hekara got up and stared a Luise. "You shouldn't of done that......" Hekara said, then, making a gesture with her hand, a sword came into Hekara's hand. "....you really should of just let me be." Hekara started to advance towards Luise. "Watch out!!!" Ryou said as he pushed Luise out of the way just as Hekara was going to hit her with the sword. "Are you ok?" Bakura asked, standing up and helping Luise up. "I'm fine ,thanks." She said, looking into his eyes.
"Oh, how sweet, now that that is over, lets try this again, shall we??" Hekara said, advancing up to the two. Her sights not set on them, but on a little pile about 5 feet away from. "Oh no......" Luise whispered, running the little pile. "Move out of the way." Hekara threatened, not even bothreing to look up at Luise. Hekara was getting annoyed at this point, so she took her hand and waved it at Luise. Luise fell flat on her back, and was paralized. 'Stupid binding spell..' Luise thought as she layed there.
Hekara waved her hand, and the pile lifted off the ground, revealing Stephen. "Oh, it's only you......" Hekara said. She waved her hand at Luise, and she got up. Hekara made a gesture with her hand, and the sword disappared. She then walked out, not even remembering that Ryou was there. That was a good thing for him, for if she would of remembered, he would be swiss cheese, lightly speaking.
Stephen just sat there, bewildered by his sister's yami. He was to afraid to move, or even breath. 'I lucked out on that one.' He thought as he looked up at his badly bruised sister.
Garsna: Yo everyone, I have never done this, so I am going to do it, now. I'm going to talk to you all!!!!!!
Bakura: Oh joy...............
Garsna: Shut up!!!!!
Bakura: Oh, I'm so scared.......

Ch 6-An Old Friend

The three where still bewildered by Hekara, but they had started to at least snap back into reality. Stephen had only been there for about 10 minutes, and started to complain that he had started to feel weird. "Sis, I don't feel so good." He said standing up, and trying to walk over to his sister. She turned around and screamed, her brother was starting to diseaper. "What's happening to you??" She ran over to him and tried to hold him, but her arms went right through him. "Hey, Yami never mentinted a time limit." He managed to mumble before totally disapearing. Lusie just went to her knees and went into a mental breakdown. Her yami was a total psycho path, she was still weak from her duel with Kaiba, her most priced card was taken from her, her brother had been here to help them get out, and he just went without any information given to her, and she was stuck in a dungeon in God knows where.
Ryou just stared at Lusie, not really sure what to do. So he walked over to her, went down to his knees, and just held her. She leaned into him, and just cried into his shoulder.
Yugi had waken up while Stephen was still away. He went down stares and saw Stephen's body laying on the couch. "What is he doing here??" Yugi asked, confused with the visit from Lusie's brother. Yami had had quite a time explaning the situation to Yugi. But Yugi eventually figured it out. "So what your telling me is that Stephen isn't really here, it's just his body that's here." It wasn't a question. "Yes, that's right." Yami said. "Well that is new." Yugi commented, before the little body of Stephen almost fell off the couch with sweat all over his face. "Yami!!!!" Yami winched at the sound of Stephen's voice, it sounded beyond angry. "Yes." "You never told me there was a time limit." Stephen said, staring up into Yami's eye's, with both sorrow and anger. "I didn't know Stephen, I thought it lasted as long as you wanted." Yami said, trying to not look into those eyes. "Well, Yami, that little detail you forgot was probably the biggest flaw anyone could of made."
Luise had calmed down, Ryou had returned to his own body, and Hekara had retired to her own soul room. Luise was still wimpering, but not really crying. "Bakura, are we ever going to get out of here??" She looked up at him, and he just looked back, he hated seeing her like this, and really wasn't sure what to say. "I'm sure we will." Was all he could think of without giving a yes or a no.
"Hello, is anyone down here??" Came the little voice of Mokuba, with something rattling in his hands. "Ya, what of it??" Lusie said, not sad, but furious. She knew that Mokuba was Kaiba's little brother, but she figured him to be just like his brother. "Well fine, maybe I won't give you the keys and your card......." Mokuba taunted as he went up the bars to show them the two items. Lusie just about hit her head onto the ceiling when she saw the two items. "Wow!!! Mokuba, how did you......." "Don't worry bout that now, I need to get you out of here quick before Seto finds the keys and the card missing. Seto has been acting really weird lately, that's why I am going to help you out." Mokuba unlocked the door, and Lusie just about smashed Mokuba into a pancake she slame open the door so suddenly. "We're out Bakura, we're out!!!" She also went to Mokuba and held out her hand. Mokuba knew what she wanted, so he just handed it to her. "My card." She whispered before putting it securely into her jean pock with the rest of her cards.
Stephan was still furious at Yami and decided to just sit down on the couch and ignore him. "..Stephen, you have got to forgive me, I didn't remember..." Yami tried to get the little boys forgiveness, but with no aveal. He just hated having people angery at him. Yami then just decided it was useless, and gave up. 'The two have a really strong sibling bond.' Yami thought to himself. Then Stephen looked over at Yami, eyes wet with tears, and he said, "It's not you I'm really mad at Yami, it's just that I miss my sister." Yami looked over at him and just about started to cry himself Stephen looked so sad and depressed. "It's ok Stehen, we will get them back." Tea said, trying to comfort Stephen. Yami decided to return to Yugi and think about the situation.
Lusie, Bakura and Mokuba had a little talk to introduce themselfs, and they started to make their way out of the dungeons. "So how has your brother been acting weird?" Bakura asked. "He has gotten even more competive, and mena to me." That was a shock to Bakura and Luise, they knew that Kaiba was mean, but never to his little brother. "Do you know why Mokuba?" Luise asked, thinking it might answer the question of why Kaiba wanted a duel so badly. "No, I don't, but I wish I did." Mokuba said, hanging his head. "I know Kaiba likes dueling, but he has never challenged so many people at once..." "There are more other then us." "Yes, he has really gone crazy with inviting people and challenging them to duels, and if they refused, they were still made to duel anyway." Mokuba said, then added, "....but you two are the only ones that he locked down here." Luise and Bakura didn't even answer, or even really hear, because they both heard something different, footsteps coming fast right towards them.
Yami had locked himself in his soul room, and Yugi couldn't get to him, so he just decided it would be better to just leave him to his thoughts. "So Stephen, one thing that I've noticed is I have never seen your dad since you and Luise have gotten here." Tea said, trying to bring the conversation away from Luise. "Well..........I whole reason we moved here was to actually get away from him." He said, tears starting to build up in his eyes. Then he lifted up his left arm and pulled back his sleeve. Everyone gasped, seeing how badly bruised it was. "Did he do that to you??" Tea asked. "Yes." Was all he said, so they all thought it would be better to lay off, seeing what all Stephen have gone through. "YES!!! I got through!!!" Came Yami's voice right by Yugi. "What do you mean??" Joey asked, startled from Yami's suddne burst. "I have been trying to reach Lusie for a while. It wasn't eay, but with Stephen going to her, it really helped." Yami said, looking over at Stephen, who was partically deaf from Yami's sudden out-burst, and him sitting right next to him. "All right........lets get started....." Stephen said, excited to finally have a way to talk to his big sis.
"Yami........" Lusie whispered as the foot got closer. "Come on Lusie, we don't have to just stand away, we have to find a place to hide!!" Bakura yelled at her, which worked to get her back into attention. "Right...." She said, running behind a pillar on the wall. Bakura and Mokuba went to the other side of the wall and both stood behind the same one. 'Yami, at the moment I can't talk, me and Bakura are in a slight situation.' Lusie had figured out that a new feeling in her body was someone trying to communicate with her. she had started to talk and waited for a reply, and heard Yami in return. So as Lusie was just standing there, she was also telling Yami that now wasn't a good time to talk. "Now that's not a very good place to hide Luise......" Came an unfamilar voice. Lusie just frooze, waiting for the worst.
'Oh no.....I hope they haven't gotten Luise.' Bakura thought from a little whiles away down the hall. Mokuba was also thinking the same. He needed her to help Seto come back to normal. Bakura also frooze as he heard the footsteps stop to about where Lusie was. He was praying to Ra that they didn't find her.
"Lusie I know your out here, now come......" Came that voice again. She couldn't quite put her finger on it, but she thought she had heard that voice before.
*Flash Back*

Lusie eyes widened as these thought entered her head. 'But I thought........' +Oh, you don't know anything. Your such an idiot.+ =Oh, shut up Hekara.= +Make me!!!+ "Now you two, this is no time to be argueing....." Lusie hadn't really noticed it before, but the voice was that of a women's. Maybe a little older then herself. A women came around the corner and faced Lusie. "Well, you must be Lusie, I am here to see Hekara. If you could please tell here I have arrived and have the prove that it is me." The woman had shoulder length black hair, and was holding the helm of a sword.
"What, why can't I talk to you!!!" Yami yelled at the air. "What's wrong??" Stephen asked, very worried about what Yami just said. "Lusie says that there is something going on, and she can't talk. But then everything seemed to disconnect." 'Oh no....' Stephen thought. "I'll try my best to get a connection back, but it might be hard." Yami said. "Well that's just great!!! Sis is in trouble, and I can't even talk to her!!!!" Stephen yelled at Yami, and his eyes were like an ocean. "I'm sorry Stephen, but I am trying my best to get a connection back." "Well hurry up!!" Stephen just sat on the couch and brought his knees to his face, he missed his sister so much.
+Ummm......Hekara, I need ya to come out, someone says that she knows you.+ Hekara got out of her soul room, and she took over Lsuie's body, something she didn't do very often. "Well......" Said Hekara, looking at the woman. "Now don't tell me you forgot all about me did you???" Said the woman, clutching the helm even harder. Hekara saw the helm of the sword and decided to get her's. She waved her hand and the sword appeared in her hand. The woman pulled her's out and Hekara examined it carefully, yep it was the same exact one. She looked at the woman, and did something she hasn't done in 5 millenna, she cried.
"Arnenda...."
Bakura and Mokuba were still behind the pillar a little ahead of were Lusie had hidden. Then they heard someone crying and say the word Arnenda. 'Who is Arnenda??' Bakura thought. But he couldn't stand it anymore, he jumped out and ran to Luise, but Luise wasn't there, instead it was Hekara holding her sword. He also saw another person holding a sword that looked exactly the same. "Hekara, who is this??" Said the other woman. "This is Ryou Bakura, and possess something that we both have wanted." Hekara said, pointing at the Millenium Ring hanging from Ryou's neck. "Who are you, tell me, and where is Luise!!!"
'Ryou!!! Help me, I can't see anything!!' Ryou heard this and launched himself right at Hekara, trying the snatch the DD from her, which would of been fatal if Ryou didn't have such good reflexs. "You think you can safe her huh??" Hekara said mockingly. Ryou asked his yami, hoping he could get help from Bakura. ^Ya, what do ya want???^ Bakura asked, sounding a little upset to be bothered. Bakura thought about this for a while, before saying ^Yes, I believe I can. Who do you want me to find???^ Ryou looked up at Hekara, and said to Bakura

Yami had gotten a small connection going with Luise, but then every thing went dark, and a sudden pain hit his head. He clutched his head, the pain was horrible. "Yami!!" Everyone yelled, even Stephen. Stephen grabbed Yami's shoulders and started to shake him, "Yami, what's wrong??? What is wrong with Luise??? Tell me!!!!" Stephen wasn't really helping the situation for Yami,it made it even worse. "Stephen, stop, you are NOT helping." Stephen stopped, but he still helded onto Yami's shoulders. "Stephen, I am not going to lie to you, but I can't sense your sister anymore." "WHAT!?!?!?!" Everyone yelled, but Stephen was the loudest. "Yami, why can't you sense her!!!!!" Stephen was in total panick mode, and the river his tears had formed made the Nile look small.
'Where am I??' Luise thought. She was walking around with her hands held out to make sure she wouldn't bump into anything. She couldn't even see her hands in front of her face. She had been to the Shadow Realm before, but this was not the Shadow Realm, and she knew she wasn't in her soul room, becasue she hadn't bumped into anything that would be in her soul room. 'Ryou, can you hear me??? Are you there???' Lusie tried desperatly, but to no aveal. She just sat down, and listened for any noise, but it was so quite, so dark. She felt like she was in nothingness, and it was cold, so very cold.
"Well, are you done talking to Bakura yet??" Hekara taunted, seeing that Ryou had snapped back to attention. "Maybe....." Ryou responded, not wanting really to answer. "Hekara, I don't like this guy's attitutide" Said the mysterious woman. Ryou looked over at her, then at Hekara. "Oh, you are curious to who this is aren't you Ryou." It wasn't a question. "Yes." He said. "Well Ryou, this is Arnenda. We are VERY old friends." ^Arnenda!?!?!^ ^Ya, I am her cousin.> Ryou didn't really say anything, he just stood there, not really sure what to say. "Hello....." Arnenda said. "What?" Ryou said, mad that she rudely butted in when he was talking to Bakura. Then he asked, "Hey, Arnenda was it, do you know someone by the name of Bakura??" Arnenda's eyes went wide and she said, "Yes, what of it??" "Well........" Ryou closed his eyes, and when he opened them it wasn't Ryou any more, it was Bakura. "Hello cousin." Bakura said.
Stephen had calmed a little, but not much. Yami had tried to explain to him why he couldn't sense his older sister, but Stephen didn't understand, but also, he really didn't care, he just wanted his sister back. "Where is the Kaiba Corporation building??" Stehen suddenly asked. "It's a few blocks away from here, why??" Tea answered. Stephen didn't answer Tea's question, he just got up and started to walk for the door. "What do you think your doing??" Joey said, grabbing Stephen by his collar. "Let go of me you insulent little dog." That really blow Joey's top, and if he didn't have half a mind, he would of slung Stephen across the room. "Stephen, let's not go to calling Joey a dog, or any other kind of animal. Now answer his question." Yami said, not moving from his spot on the couch. "I am going to go get my sister myself, you all aren't doing anything to help her."
Ryou was in his soul when he heard a faint voice. 'Ryou, can you here me??? Are you there???' He could barely hear it but he knew that it was Luise. 'Yes, I can hear you, barely, but I can hear you.' He didn't hear anything for a few minutes, but then he heard her again, 'Ryou, it's dark, and it's cold. I want out.' That was all he heard from her. He was beginning to worry alot about her, so he docided to seperate from Bakura and talk to Hekara, with the safety of Bakura right there.
This took Arnenda by suprise. Not that Ryou seperated from Bakura, but because of how similaur they looked.
"Hekara, where is Lusie?!?!?!" "You just won't stop will you?? Well, she is in a dark place. It isn't the Shadow Realm, but it's not here either. It only execise in the depths of our own mind." Ryou was confused at this point, Bakura was getting it perfectly, and Arnenda just stood there and listened. "This place is created when a person has gone, or been in a state of Depression for a year or more. It gets bigger from pain, and sadness. Lusie's 'Dark Hole' ,which it is called, is extremely big. She has had a bad childhood, went into depression for two years, and I am also a factor. But the biggest supply of sadness was from her father." Ryou was lost, but still got the basic idea of it. "How do you get out??" He asked, hoping that there was a way out. "Well, there is one way out..." Hekara made sure to explain as slowly as she could. "You can find a way into her mind and make her get over her fears." "Why her fears??" Ryou asked, looking puzzled as to it having to be her fears. This time it was Arnenda explaining. "Well, it goes like this, her fears are killing her at the moment. She has to face them to get out, and keep from getting killed." Hekara and Arnenda could of died laughing as they saw the look of disbelieve on both Ryou's and Bakura's face. "So do you think you can save her now??" Hekara taunted.
"Stephen, you've got to understand, it is not that easy to just waltze on in there and get Luise." Tea, tried her best to get Stephen to understand, but he was to full of rage to care what anyone said, he tried for the door again, but Joey and Tristen blocked the way. Stephen then turned around, and looked at Yami. "Ok, Yami, what do you propose we do??" Stephen asked, sounding like he was going to explode. "Well I've been thinking for awhile, and thought since I can't get a connection with Luise, I could try to get through to Bakura." "Who's Bakura??" Stephen asked. "He's Ryou's yami." "Oh......." Stephen then sat down beside Yami, and he explained everything. "So you'r saying that Bakura's connection is very strong. Wow, this is great, get through to Bakura right this very minute." Stephen urged. "Ok, ok, I'm on it." Yami said. At the same time Stephen was begining to trust Yami again.

Ch 8-Entering Luise's mind

Ryou had almost fainted when he heard that Luise was dieing right at this very moment. He asked, hoping that Bakura could make some sort of way into Luise's mind. ^I am not sure Bakura, I will keep on trying. But I am not very hopeful about finding her.^ Ryou didn't reply, he just stared at the floor when he heard what Bakura had to say.
"Oh, you all are probably wondering why Kaiba brought you here, and he hasn't showed up yet, am I right????"
Ryou snapped back to attention, and answered, "Well actually, your right, where is Kaiba??" "Ya, where is my big brother??" Mokuba jumped in, Ryou had forgotten all about Mokuba. Arnenda looked at the small boy and said, "I needed him to get to Luise, and to Hekara. He wasn't very hard to take over. It was so easy, I was almost sorry for the poor-rich boy." She laughed, and Mokuba would of pounched on her if it wouldn't of been for Ryou holding him back. "what do you mean 'Take over'???" Ryou asked. "I mean, I have contracted a few powers of my own, and one is to take over people's bodies for a short period of time. But I had him under my control for a while, but only because he was so weak......" "You shut up right now, my brother is not weak!!!" Mokuba yelled, almost throwing out his voice. "...Are you sure about that??? Oh well, anyway, I took his body and dueled you all, and right now he is, ummm.....Oh ya, he is in his office asleep. I put a spell on him, so he won't remember."
Hekara was amazed at how much Arnenda had improved, but then a thought came to her mind, "Arnenda, how did your spirit survive after 5 millenia??"
Luise had not really fallen asleep, or in that fact, was very tired. But, she felt like she couldn't even get up with out falling back down. 'I am reallt exhausted, I wonder why.' She asked herself as she tried to stand up, but fallen horribly and fell back down. "Shit" She yelled as she landed on the hard ground. *buzzzz.......* "What is that??" She thought aloud, then realized what it was, screamed out loud when it got even nearer. 'BEES!!' She thought as she attempted to run away. But this time her legs didn't give out on her, and she ran as fast as she could. But she knew she would never out run them, but she would at least keep runing. 'Please, let them just go away........' She thought as she her heart pounded in her chest, but kept running.
^I've done Ryou!!! I can get you into Luise's mind.^ Ryou looked at Bakura, and said, ^ok, ok, give me one sec.......^
"Hekara, I believe they have found a way to get to Luise." Arnenda said, looking at Ryou. "Well, took them long enough...." Hekara said. At the moment she was busy. No one else, even Arnenda, knew that Hekara was the one making sure that Luise was terrified out of her mind, and dieing as quickly as possible. She didn't want want her around any longer. Hekara thought that Luise was weak, and should be gotten reid of, but Ryou going into Luise's mind made the game more fun.
^Ok Ryou, this is what I need you to do.^ Ryou waited, about to explode with having to wiat so long for Bakura to explain what to do. ^Ok, go into your soul room, I will tell you what to do next once you get there.^ Ryou got into his soul room as fast as he could. Arnenda and Hekara not really being very suprised by the phonema. Mokuba, of course, terrified at it. ^Ok, I have opened a door in your soul room to Luise's mind. It should be somewhere in there.^ Ryou looked around, and found, then heard a scream, and some sort of a buzzing noise. He said, as he went through the door. ^Wait!! One more thing Ryou, you have a time limit, you only have one hour to get her out. *under breath* Good Luck.^
Luise had been running for, how long was it??? It felt like forever to her. It sounded like the noise was getting closer, and she couldn't out run it. Then she saw something off in the distance. She ran faster, hoping it was somehting to get her out. She got closer and closer, and she saw it as a sort of door. Her heart almost skipped a beat she was so excited. Then she saw someone coming in, was it??? "Luise!!!" She heard someone yell. "Ryou, get me out of here!!!" She was running so fast she couldn't stop, and ran smack-dab into Ryou, both of them tumbling down. They looked into each other's eye's. 'God she has gorgious eyes' Ryou thought. Luise thinking the same thing. "What?!?!" Luise yelled, Ryou looked to where she was looking and saw that the door he had come through was completely gone. They both scrambled to their feet, and Luise turned as white as Ryou's face. They could barely see each other, but the knew where eath other where. "Run!!!" Luise yelled, then Ryou heard the buzzing. He wasn't afarid of bees, but that was no reason not to run.

Ch 9-It's Not Always Better to Run and Stay Alive, Then Stay and Get Killed
"So Bakura, where is your little friend??" Hekara asked, actually a little curious about where his hikari was. "...and why should I tell you??" Bakura asked, intending to keep her from finding out where he was. Arnenda then stuck her sword out a Bakura, suspecious of where Ryou really was. "Why don't you tell us, I mean, it's not like we could possibley get to him, right??"
Arnenda asked, trying her best not to reveal a secert to Bakura. If he did find out her secert, she was more then gone for. But then something went horribily wrong with her 'plan'. Bakura swated the sword out of his way, making contact with the sword. "ahh...." She tried her best not to scream, but the pain was to great. Bakura just looked at her in confusion, then tried to hit the sword again. This time it was Hekara pointing her sword at Bakura. "Come one step and I swear, you will not live long enough to see your hikari again....." Bakura just gradually moved back. He wasn't afarid of the sword, he was more afarid of what the sword's owner's skills were. He hadn't really seen her in real sword-to-sword combat, so he wasn't sure how good she was with it. "Fine..." He said, hoping not to sound, or look, afarid of the ancient object.
'Bakura, are you there???' Yami tried desperatly to get into contact with Bakura, he thought Bakura could hear him, but wasn't too sure. "Is he there??" Stephen asked eagerally. ^Yami?? What do want???^ Bakura responded, not in the mood to talk to the ancient pharoh at the moment. "Yes, he is there." Yami told Stephen, and if you were there, you would of sworn that Stephen's head hit the ceiling when Yami told him. "Dat's great!!! Now what is Bakura sayin'???" Joey asked. 'So Bakura, where are Luise and Bakura???' Bakura didn't respond immeditaly, which worried Yami, but he still said, ^In a place where I can't go...^ Yami's face turned white. He was afarid to tell Stephen right now, so he kept on taking to Bakura, 'Bakura, where is Ryou??' Yami senced Bakura mentally hang his head, and he knew something was wrong with him too. 'Bakura where are you, and have you gotten any thing on why Kaiba was acting so weird??' ^I know what was wrong with with Kaiba, where I am, I have yet to find that out.^ "But Yami, I thought they were at the Kaiba building...." Yami looked up at him, not really sure how to responde but tried his best, "Yugi, I cannot sence them at the Kaiba building, I think that somehow they were moved. I think some way through the catacombs underneither the city, what are the called again??" Tristen piped up and answer that question, "They are called the Sewers Yami." "Oh..." Yami said, then Stephen spoke up, "So where is Luise??" Yami was in a crunch now, he wasn't very sure how to tell him.
"Luise, you need to stop running, if you keep on, you are going to die!!" Luise hadn't really noticed it, but she was feeling a little weird. She stopped, and stood next to Ryou. "Why am I going to die if I keep on running??" "Because if you don't face your fears, you are going to die, Hekara told me herself." Luise didn't reply, which worried Ryou, but then she said, "Ryou, if I have to face my fears, I will have to face my dad. Do you realise that when I even think of him, I shudder??" Ryou hadn't really thought about it, but he had never seen her dad before. "Ryou, I would rather run and be afarid, then not run and be dead...." Ryou thought this over, but either way, the results were the same, if she kept running she would die, if she faced her fears, she would live. "But Luise, if you face your fears, you will just laugh at yourself in the future, and this as only a guidence to making you stronger."
Bakura was worried at the point, Ryou had been gone half an hour, and he hadn't heard anything from him. Arnenda had recovered fully by now and looked like she was going to explode for what Bakura did to her. But she held herself, and just stood next to Hekara. Bakura had also noted that Hekara was smiling, as if enyjoying herself somehow. "So what is sooo great that you are actually smiling??" Bakura asked, irrerated by the smug look upon her face. "Oh....nothing." She lied, she was enjoying herself sooooooo much at the moment. But the bees were just a warm up. She was going to bring out the good stuff in a few minutes.
"Well....." Stephen asked impacitely. (A/N: Can't spell, sorry, but I am to lazy to go look up the words, personally, I hate dicsonaries*did I spell that right???* ^_~) Yami was still trying to figure out how to tell him, then a thought came into his mind, he would lie!! It wouldn't be very nice, but he didn't really like it when Stephen screamed at him, it hurt his ears. "She is just fine, in fact she says 'Hi!!'" He lied to Stephen. Of course Stephen didn't know, so he just sat there like he had all the candy in world. Joey bent over to Yami's ear and whispered, "You are lieing, aren't you??" Yami was a little suprised, but only answered with a node.
Ryou and Luise turned around, and noticed that the buzzing had stopped. Luise let out a sigh of relieve, and collapsed, landing on her knees. Ryou went to her and held her. She was shaking, but he thought it was only from all the running. "Thank you, Ryou" She said as she embraced him. He held her close, almost protectivly.
But just then she was torn from his grip. "What did I say about you and boys, girl!!!" Ryou heard a man say. Then he heard Luise being kneed in the stomach, and fall to the ground. "Hey, who are you!?!?!?" Ryou demanded, standing up. "Well, I am this little weaklings father, and I need to teach you a lesson about being 'round my daughter!!!" Ryou was lefted by his collar, and punched in his stomach. "Stop it dad!!" Luise's father heard her pleas, and stopped, but just went to her, and picked her up by the collar. Luise was crying at the point, and tring to crawl into a ball. But her father wouldn't allow it, and punched her, over and over again. Ryou could hear Luise's sobs stop, but he still heard her father punching her. He figured that he was punching her in the stomach. Then it stoped, and he saw him pick Luise up, not by the collar this time, but by the throat. She was clawing and struggling to get free, but that only made him grasp harder. Ryou could hear her gasping for breath. Then he did something that even suprised him, he tackled the man. Yes, the man was stronger then him, but if you go for the legs, they always come down. Luise was dropped, and grabbed at her neck, gasping for air.
Bakura left a sudden pain in his stomach, and fell to the ground, gasping for breath. "Oh, did I forget to mention that if their is a second person, and they have a yami, the yami's feel the pain that the hikari feel??" Hekara purposely not mentioning that little detail. "No, I guess I missed that." Bakura said, still gasping for breath. Finally, Mokuba (A/N: He has been there with Bakura, just scared stiff, sorry, SORRY, my fault, first fic...remember??) was tired of not doing anything, so decided to help Bakura. "Are you okay??" He asked "Well, does it look like I'm okay??" Bakura asked, sort of dumb-founded with the stupid question. "I'm sorry, seesh, don't get all mad at me."
Arnenda looked up, and reconized the black haired boy, "Hey, you must be Mokuba Kaiba, right?? Well, I want to see something, I want to know if you are as weak as your brother." Arnenda said, a smug look on her face. Mokuba had a lot of emontions at this statement, mostly anger and fear. "My brother is not weak, he is stronger then you'll ever be, you can't even duel people face-to-face!!" This time it was Arnenda that was dumb-founded. "Don't you ever speak to me like that boy!!" "What's going to stop me, you???" He said, with a hint of, what was that, laughter??? "Oh, you are going to get it now..." Arnenda said. She pointed her swored at Mokuba's head, and chanted something in ancient egypitian. Mokuba felt a weird senation crawl over him. Then he tought 'I am NOT going ot let this women take control of me, I won't, I won't, I won't.........' He kept on tell himself this, and then the sensation left him. "Wow, impressive, I didn't know anyone could resist my sword, you are different somehow, but how???" She puzzled this to herself, not noticeing that Mokuba was slipping away.
"Ryou, what are you doing??" Luise finally got out when she had her breath. But Ryou didn't have time to respond, because at the moment he was to busy trying to fend off her father. "You dumb boy, you will pay for that!!" Ryou was finally able to get up, and get a good distance away from the man before he got up. But then found out, the man wasn't at all that fast. Yes, he was very strong, but it didn't really help when he couldn't lay a hand on Ryou. "Come here boy and fight like a man!!!" "Ryou, stop this!!" Luise pleaded. He heard her, but didn't listen. "Luise, I will not stop until you face your fear of your dad, until then, I will just have to fight him." While Ryou was talking he didn't notice that he had stoppped, and the man grabbed him. "Your going to get it now...." He said that right in Ryou's face, and his breath smelled like beer. But just before he was going to land a punch into Ryou's face, Luise grabbed her father's arm, and stopped the rocketing fist just a few inchs from Ryou's face. "Stop this now dad!! You don't need to do this!!" "Really, and what makes you think I am going to stop beating him??" Luise thought about this, then simply said, "Me." "Fine, if that's the way you want it..." He dropped Ryou, and headed for Luise. But there was something different about her this time. "Luise!!" Ryou screamed as the man charged at her.
